Dr. Lykins Takes Pride in His Work
This review is long past due. Dr. Lykins performed my partial thyroidectomy in Oct 2014. This sounds common, but it is not an easy surgery and my goiter was particularly large. Dr. Lykins takes pride in his work, he wants to do an excellent job, and he did take all the extra time in surgery that day to get it right. I have a very small scar, but did not suffer any of the possible complications from the surgery.
As is typical, I had pre and post op office visits with Dr. Lykins. He has a cheerful personality, he explained everything, answered all my questions, and he did not rush.
Dr. Lykins seems like he genuinely likes what he is doing and wanted me to have a successful experience. At a post-op office visit the MA was busy, so he took out my last lingering stitch himself instead of making me wait.
Gloria D.Dr. Lykins Is Extremely Thorough
I’ve known Dr. Christopher Lykins socially for several years. When my Allergist told me I needed to see a ENT doctor and that surgery on my head or neck was probably inevitable – I broke my rule of not hiring friends for care or services.
Dr. Lykins was extremely thorough – walking me through my CT scans to show me what was going on. He also took the time to share important details to help me understand what my surgery would entail and what I could expect as I recover from surgery.
Dr. Lykins and his helpful staff were able to schedule my surgery relatively quickly – which was a relief, because I was required to continue antibiotics until I could get this particular ENT procedure done.
My surgery was yesterday, and as far as I can tell – it went great. My post-surgery pain levels are surprisingly low (about what it was pre-surgery – which is exactly what Dr. Lykins said I could expect.
It’s too soon to tell how successful this will be in addressing the chronic ENT illness issues I have had for a long time, but all in all, the overall patient experience was great. I would highly recommend Dr. Lykins and his staff for their expert ear, nose, and throat medical care.

Our ENT PatientCaring and Competence
I was brought to Dr. Bailey on an emergency basis and found the level of caring and competence to be superior. The office and support staff were very professional and full of genuine concern. Carrie, Dr. Bailey’s assistant, was very hands-on, telling us of any delay and keeping us informed on all details of my case.
The Dr. took me the same day that I called for an appointment and was very professional and calming. The office went out of their way to set up the surgery quickly and were able to get biopsy reports much quicker than usual.
Thankfully, all was well, and our gratefulness to Dr. Bailey, Carrie, and their staff is boundless. These are wonderful, caring, and competent professionals and you are in very good hands.
